God of War Sons of Sparta Review - Fighting In The Shade Of Greater Games

Sons of Sparta gives a rare, moving look at young Kratos—his bond with Calliope and Deimos lands, and the original voice actor sells it. But the Metroidvania feels clunky: stiff movement, dull combat, sloppy enemy placement and slow travel across ~35 hours. Worth it only for completists?
