Tokyo Xtreme Racer on PS5 feels like a 2007 time capsule: night-only Shuto duels where you flash headlights to wear rivals down. Driving is fast and responsive and the presentation is slick — but a heavy early grind, cheesy PS2 dialogue and repeated roads may kill the buzz. Nostalgia or slog?
