RIP Hideki Sato — the “father of Sega hardware” reportedly died on 13 February in his late 70s (sources say 75–77). He led Sega R&D, helped design everything from the SG-1000 to the Dreamcast, briefly served as president, and shaped the Megadrive’s iconic look.
